The process is open for local people, both artists and other people, Finnish and foreign-born. Inscriptions to outi.korhonen@minedu.fi.

The workshop process starts with encounters with individuals from different groups of migrants. Based on these interviews and the pre-work of the local team, audiovisual content is created in the workshops and located in the installation structure formed by different sized tubes. The tube structure also serves as a scenography for the performances that will be created related to the installation.

The parallel workshop contents are modified according to the interests and skills of each participant. All the workshops contribute to concrete outcomes of the installation and/ or performances. The contents include:

-       discussions and dialogues related to the theme (please read the cover)

-       drama exercises, acting and creative writing

-       work with music and sound as elements of the installation space

-       video shooting and creating video contents in experimental drama work

-       performance planning and rehearsing, finishing with two public performances

-       experiments with the technical possibilities of video screenings and sound projections

-       scenography assistance

-       documenting the project
